FIELD TRIP TO THE ZOO

My school principal had arranged for a fieldtrip to THE ZOO for the classes 3,4 and 5. As I am in class 4 I also went there and enjoyed alot.Let me tell you what I saw and did.
When I got the notice, I asked my mother to fill it. She filled it up and gave me Rs.580. The next day I woke very early in the morning becase of the exitement of the fieldtrip. My mother had bought my snacks from a nearby store. She then, ironed my uniform and I wore it. I had packed my bag the day before so I took it and went out with my mother. After, a little while my school van came and my mother said goodbye and wished me a safe trip.I got into the van and started talking with my friends. When we reached our big school, we said our prayers and went into the classes. Our teacher asked u s to go to the washroom as during the fieldtrip none of us will be allowed to go anywhere. Then, once again we got into the school van and reached the zoo. We made a a tidy qeue of 35 children. First we went into the elephant's cage. There was a baby elephant with his mother. It was quite smelly, but we felt sorry for the poor father elephant whose trunk was tied to a rope (I don't know why). Then we contineued with our tour. We saw the aligator too but some of the girls were frightened and so we moved on. Then we saw the lion and made fun of him, and it looked very odd that the were not afraid of the lion! We saw the giraffe who was enjoying some fresh leaves. It had been eating for a long time that almost the had no leaves left. The we had a nice looke on the big, black bear. It was not near us so we did not enjoy that. We saw the ducks and threw some popcorn to them. Then seeing the ducks eating we also felt tired and had some lunch. Then the zookeeper told us that the zoo was closing, so we went into our vans and reached the school in no time.  Then went home with our parents. At home I felt tired but happy.

It was the best fieldtrip of my life.
